GINgo Unchained: gin-tasting & singles night

Christmas and NYE parties already seem like a distant memory after our first week back at work, but we won’t let you get yourself down! Luckily for you, London is always full of surprises, and we’ve got some great events you can attend to take a small break from your January detox.

York & Albany’s ‘Awfully British Winter Cabin

Book this cozy winter cabin in Camden this month, either with a group of friends or even family! Whilst the weather is strangely warmer outside, you’ll still need a bit of warming up near a fireplace or even cozy up in a comfortable blanket. Menus start at £38 per person and include delicious winter food such as haggis sausage rolls, stilton, and red onion tartlets…

ABBA – Super Troupers

As you already know from our previous articles, we’re big suckers for original and fun exhibitions. Although we do like the good old art-gallery-day, we’re always up for trying new ways to feel cultivated! And we’ve got the one for you this month; the one and only ABBA exhibition at the Southbank Center. Tickets are between £15 and £25 and the event is on until the end of February. This is a one-of-a-kind exhibition as you walk around 5 different rooms with your personal guide, and explore the music, lyrics, and lives of our favorite Swedish band.

Finnish Rooftop Sauna

The Queen Elizabeth Roof Gardens is being turned into a Finnish sauna until the end of February, so book your tickets fast for a unique and relaxing time! The view from the sauna is flawless, overlooking the gorgeous London skyline, and better yet, you can enjoy it in delightful steams and snug bathrobes. The sessions are 70mins each and cost about £20, but keep in mind this is a pop-up installation so it won’t be staying around for long.

Avobar

What if we told you a specialized avocado restaurant was about to open in Covent Garden? The eatery will serve delicious (and healthy) salads, avocado carpaccio, avo hot cakes, green shakshuka and a fab breakfast menu. This concept is inspired by the Californian scene, so picture green plants, loads of natural lights and high-quality fresh ingredients. Opening date is early January, so we’ll see you there!

GINgo Unchained: gin-tasting & singles night

Calling out to all the hot single men and women out there. This singles night is not only a great opportunity to meet people and make friends (and more) but also an exclusive gin tasting night. Tickets are £20 and include a complimentary drink, four rounds of gin cocktails, low-key rounds of speed dating and access to the gorgeous bar and garden area of the Jam tree, in Clapham. Talk about a good deal!
