Now that the excitement of the Super Bowl is over and the Six Nations tournament is well on its way, we’re not sure what excuses we have to find to stay up at unreasonable hours to watch some sports or pop over to the pub on a weeknight. The good news however, is that this Summer is literally *filled* with exciting tournaments. So get the Aperol Spritz ready and clean up the BBQ because this Summer is going to be a great one!

I don’t know about you, but once Christmas, New Years and my (January) birthday is over, I literally start counting down the days until I can wear my favourite leather sandals with my white trousers. So to cheer myself up, I’ve decided to make a list of all the festivals and concerts, as well as sports tournaments I most look forward to watching with friends.

FIFA Euro Cup 2020

This year will quite literally be a European football tournament like no other as the 24 teams will be competing across a host of cities around the continent. Better yet, the semi-finals as well as the finals will take place in the heart of London, in Wembley. Who do you think is going to win?

2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics

For the second time since 2964, Tokyo has been chosen to be the lucky host of the summer games this year. As usual, medals will be up for grabs by all the teams present, and don’t get me started with the opening ceremony excitement! Let’s just say I might just get very patriotic during those few weeks.

Women’s FA Cup Final

Wembley stadium is going to be busy this Summer with the Women’s FA cup final taking place there as well! Last year’s winners, Manchester City will be aiming to win the trophy this year again, but the stats are predicting that Arsenal might just stop them from getting there! It’s amazing to see the amount of talent these ladies have, and we seriously can’t wait for the kick off in May.

This one is for all the fans of Andy Murray – will be return? Will he win? We surely hope he will but it was pretty clear from the Australian Open that he will take a step back from the singles. Nevertheless, we can’t wait to see some of the best athletes in the world compete against each other and take home the trophy. We particularly love taking a picnic around the stadium’s park, will we see you there?

Tour de France

I know, I know, some of you will not be super excited about this tournament but believe it or not, the Tour de France is getting massive in the UK. For the second time in the Tour’s history, Nice will host the first race and we are currently patiently waiting to see who will take the yellow jersey home!
