Did January also seem endless to you? Not only does Christmas seem like it was a year ago but we can’t stop crying when we think about how far away summer holidays are… But come on, let’s cheer up and fill the shortest month of the year with these fun activities below.

Mardi Gras In Brixton

Ever wondered what a real “fat Tuesday” celebration is like? How about you join us at Pop Brixton for a night of all-around New Orleans experiences! Bring your kids for day-time craft activities, and bring your dancing shoes for some good old jazz music. But get ready for a bunch of other surprises including having your fortune told for free. This party is taking place on the 27th of February and is free entrance!

DC Exhibition: Dawn of the Super Heroes

Who here is a big comic fan? Then this exhibition is for you (or your boyfriend). After a very successful run in Paris, the premiere of the London’s DC Exhibition: Dawn of Super-Heroes is opening on the 23rd of February at the O2. Believe us, this is a one-off exhibition that celebrates the rich history and art of DC’s iconic superheroes and villains such as Batman and Wonder Woman. Pick your slot in advance as they are selling fast!

Sabor

Who else has lined up numerous time outside London’s best tapas bar Barrafina in Soho? That’s what I thought, I can see loads of hands in the air, but what if we told you a restaurant by ex-Barrafina chef was opening this month in Mayfair! Both Nieves Barragan and José Etura have been driving forces behind the restaurant’s success and are now gladly opening a new tapas bar called Sabor. We can’t wait to try it out.

The Big London Flea

The big flea market is back on the 25th of February with more than 50 vintage stalls to pimp up your home with retro furniture and antiques. The entrance to the market is free and held at Dalston’s former ABC cinema, now known as EPIC Dalston but make sure you get some cash out in advance in case you fall in love with a 1970s table that will look just right in your bedroom.

Movie Nights At The Museum

Watch your favorite science fiction movie on the big screen this month at the National History Museum. Enter the night-time world of the gallery, away from the crowds before sitting down for a fabulous evening of cinema. The screenings are starting on the 9th of February until the 3rd of March with movies ranging from ET, District 9 and Star Wars. Tickets start at £28 so you better get yours before they sell out!
