And just like that it’s December and after a heavy Thanksgiving weekend, we’re ready to dive into a new month of cosmos, moons and everything else. As we approach the end of the year, it’s only natural to take a look back and ponder over what happened, how it all went by so fast (mainly!), and if our expectations were met.

There’s also always a certain amount of nostalgia in the air, only normal since we tend to spend more time with our loved ones – but overall, let’s first congratulate ourselves over yet another year done and dusted. Now what to expect for the last month of the year? Jupiter will enter Capricorn on December 2nd, which will be a major shift for Sagittarius as it’s their ruling planet. You’ll feel this in the next weeks, so don’t say we didn’t warn you. We’ll have a full moon on the 11th, and then slowly moving into Capricorn season on the 21st. Until then, brace yourself for a solar eclipse on Christmas day, they’re known to rock us upwards and downwards.

But before we divulge any more predictions, keep scrolling to find out what December has in store for you, the surprises you might encounter, and more!

Sagittarius

November 22nd – December 21st

Happy birthday month dear Sags! You’re starting off on a rough patch as Jupiter leaves you on the 2nd and enters Capricorn – use this time to be cautious and to perhaps stash some money aside as an early new year’s resolution. On the 11th, there’s a full moon in Gemini which will be a great time to strengthen your relationships, whether private or professional. After all, it’s cuffing season! Lastly, you’ll end the month with a solar eclipse on the 25th, perfectly in time to stir things up before the holidays.

Capricorn

December 22nd – January 19th

After a long year that went by at a surprising quick rate, it’s almost your time to shine Capricorns. You’ll start off with a solar eclipse, which can have both positive and negative effects so make sure to stay on top of things. On the bright side, your luck is striking and you’re bound to start the new year on the right foot. Identity-wise, this could be a good time to work on yourself and exploring a new side of you. There’s always room for improvement and never too early to start.

Aquarius

January 20th – February 18th

Question for you Aquarius, do you truly think that all these so-called self-care practices you’ve been trying to follow this past year have made you a better person? Detox, meditation, and the likes – have they changed you? Take a good look back and see what you could have done differently, it won’t hurt. Once that’s done, you’ve got a full moon coming in on the 11th, guaranteed to make you want to go and have some fun. Whether it’s with friends or family, enjoy yourself! Lastly, your patience will get tested on the solar eclipse, so make surer you stay on your best behaviour!

Pisces

February 19th – March 20th

After everything that’s been going on this past year, are you finally in that place you pictured yourself to be? Are you satisfied with all that you’ve accomplished? This month will be a good time to evaluate that. The end of the year might feel like you need to get things done and finish off all your tasks; but don’t forget about the people that help you get started in the first place. Do you think it might be time to be a better team player?

Aries

March 21st – April 19th

Good news is that you’re starting December with a huge boost in your life – the spotlight is yours and it’s time to shine before the year comes to an end. After working hard for the past few years, the work is finally paying off and you’ll see results starting from the 15th on. Things will get again around the full moon on the 11th, and you may feel overwhelmed once Capricorn season comes around on the 21st. Make sure to tick off your to-do list before the holidays start!

Taurus

April 20th – May 20th

Sure it’s the end of the year and you might feel the pressure piling up, but that doesn’t mean you still have plenty of time to predict your future yourself. You’ll start to see opportunities arise once Jupiter enters Capricorn on the 2nd, and the full moon on the 11th will help settle your financial situation. Maybe take this as a hint to take a few days off? Leave the city for a quick getaway? Towards the end of the month, you might start to feel nostalgic about the holidays, but that’s only natural. The solar eclipse might be a downer in the short term, but a good push in the long term.

Gemini

May 21st – June 20th

Do you feel like you’re being your true self with the people surrounding you these days? Or perhaps you feel like you’re on auto-pilot just trying to navigate through this thing called life. Whichever it is, look into it and check for yourself whether the version of you that you’re displaying is in its truest form, or whether that’s something you could improve. Don’t hesitate to reach out to people, you’re only as good as those that help you get to where you are right now.

Cancer

June 21st – July 22nd

This is a month to look into the different aspects of your life. Whether professional or private, you’re working on your relationship and how to strengthen them for the near future. It’ll be a busy few weeks ahead, that’s for sure but at least you’re getting work done before the new year starts, and there’s nothing like a good head start. As with your peers, watch out with the solar eclipse as it will enhance your decision making process and the choices you make even further. Be as private as you can when needed, and decide when it’s time to show off.

Leo

July 23rd – August 22nd

Busy month ahead for you dear Leo! Between Jupiter getting into Capricorn which means it’s time to get things done on your to-do list, to the full moon in Gemini on the 11th, party planning is at an all-time high. Just make sure not to overwhelm yourself by RSVPing yes to every event in your calendar. Moving on, you’ve got Venus entering your relationship sector on the 2oth, and you’ll want to spoil your loved ones more than ever. Finishing off with the solar eclipse, and all you’ll want to do is to take care of yourself in the way of a good workout, self care or lunch with an old friend!

Virgo

August 23rd – September 22nd

December might not be the month that makes you want to start something new, but why not take on the challenge and surprise yourself? Create something new, get your ideas brewing, your brain working, and who knows what might come out of it? Mercury will enter Sagittarius on the 9th, and you’ll feel like your creativity will be at an all-time high! Make sure to take notes, and get to work before it’s too late – and keep in mind to focus on yourself first before giving any remaining time and energy to others.

Libra

September 23rd – October 22nd

‘Tis the season for changes, coming for you fellow Libras! With the year ending, you’ll find yourself thinking about whether you should extend your current lease or move out and venture out on your own. Mid-month, you start planning a trip in the next weeks with a little help from the full moon in Gemini on the 11th. Romantically, you’ll feel a nudge when Venus enters Aquarius on the 20th – should you bring a plus one to your friends Christmas party? If you want to avoid any drama, leave that one out as there’s plenty waiting for you over the holidays with the family.

Scorpio

October 23rd – November 21st

Though it’s been a busy past weeks celebrating you, followed by Thanksgiving and Christmas preparation, there’s no stopping now. December is looking busy for you – your drive and energy are at an al-time high, and you’re in the mood to discuss ideas left and right. Perhaps this is the best time considering all the mingling, social events and parties; don’t hesitate to learn something new along the way and enter 2020 with a brand new set of skills.
