There’s something quite magical about London during Christmas time. Other than the gorgeous decorations in Harrods and the lights on Regents street, we’ve got loads of different options for you to enjoy the festivities in the English capital this month.
Whether you like ice-skating or not, Winter Wonderland is without a doubt the ultimate place to get in the festive mood! For the month, Hyde Park is transformed into a German-inspired Christmas market with loads of food options, a Bavarian beer tent, rides and much more! Just make sure you wrap yourself up because London can get very cold and dry at night.
December is not all about Christmas and we would highly recommend this exhibition at the design museum just off Holland Park. The exhibition marks the 70th birthday of the luxury car brand with historical facts about the company and secrets about its manufacturing. You’ll be surprised at how highly entertaining the exhibition is and you definitely don’t need to be a car fan to enjoy it (trust me, I don’t even drive).
This place is the best hangout in London. It’s fun, groovy and one of the top spots to bring all your friends for a night out. You can skate, bowl, play arcade games all whilst drinking and eating. The place has just recently re-opened and we can’t wait to book our lane for a fun night of bowling.
And finally, if you’re heading to that side of London, make sure you attend the Chiswick magical lantern festival before January 2nd! The stunning Chiswick House & Gardens is transformed into a gorgeous Christmas heaven with beautiful hand-crafted lanterns. Bring your children as well as there are some rides and fun Christmas events! You might even meet Santa and his reindeer if you’re lucky…
