Generally speaking I’m not one to voluntarily cover heavily coveted trends, which is why I was extra delighted when someone of the team pitched a story revolving around basics – more specifically, an updated version of basics. See, when all you do all day long is look at pages and pages of fashion, the thought of always looking and dressing your best can be a tad overwhelming. For me personally, I steered away from that *trend* a while back – now all I swear by to get by are a few seasonal accessories with a heavy rotation of updated basics.
After doing a quick round of q&a’s we came to the conclusion that every piece that you wear with pleasure and ease should be switched up from time to time, or when its weariness is starting to show – whichever speaks to you most. In this case, it’s definitely out of weariness – every piece of clothing tends to decrease in value as time goes by, and there’s no better timing than when the seasons change to do a little closet cleanup.
Amongst the chosen pieces we couldn’t help but add in a few seasonal touches like tie-dye, embellished accessories, croc-effect handbags, soft tones in warm knitwear, a ton of faux-fur and belted outerwear, and much more! Scroll through to see for yourself, and please share which basics need an update in your wardrobe – we’re so curious! In the meantime, enjoy our selection of all under £300 pieces hand-picked by our team.
