Create clickbait products and the rest will follow. As we keep up with the tradition of highlighting our current must haves, we thought to ourselves, why not share the new things we’re loving this week. All the way from bookmarking Instagram posts of drool worthy styles to virtual wish lists, it seems as though the first week of November is filled with some real good goodies.
You see, the thing with a constant revolving door of new arrivals and recommendations, it can quickly become overwhelming to sift through, and ultimately decide what to buy. Don’t get us wrong, this is a good thing and the Internet has become sort of a blessing for providing us with such a sparse catalogue of pieces that may or may not interest us. In my case for instance, I browse 3 times a week through different retailers to see if anything might tickle my fancy – a cute top here, a very necessary multi-purpose belt there, and the list goes on. Recently, I’ve become obsessed with hunting down affordable under £100 jewellery that A. works with any outfits on a daily basis, and B. doesn’t turn green at the mere touch of water or humidity. The latter being an absolute priority in sweat-filled city days. Sure, it takes a while to get what you want, but I’m glad to announce there is light at the end of the tunnel.
We start our list off with these jog pants similar to the kind Leandra Medine collaborated on with Mango, a faux-leather shirt similar to this one by Zara (for some real leather, we recommend this one), and a fall staple in the shape of a frayed hem mini denim skirt in a dark grey tone heavily discounted at just under £20. With the trend of faux-leather and faux-shearling reaching peak limits, we’re thinking about jumping on that train with this super chic white faux-fur coat by Stand Studio.
A classic puffed sleeve organza blouse in a plain black is an absolute wardrobe staple. Perfect to wear both at work and at night by adding a piece or two of jewellery and opening up a few buttons! A never ending quest for the perfect sweater dress may have come to a fruitful end, courtesy of this one in an elegant camel tone and draped skirt bottom. We love this silk-satin mini in a lavender – ideal to wear for an upcoming holiday party, as well as during warmer months. This silk-blend camisole in a passe-partout sand colour at a current 50% off must rank at the top of essentials to wear with everything from white jeans in summer to high waisted plaid trousers in winter.
Moving over to a more casual piece, these high-rise straight leg jeans by fashion favorite Khaite, which albeit being on the (much) higher price spectrum as we’d normally recommend, are definitely worth the splurge if you’re in the mood. Alternatively, you could simply add them to your wish list and hope they get included in the upcoming fall/winter sale.
This brown paillettes knit cardigan by Mango is still one of our top front-runners; we look forward to wearing it belted over a pair of black leggings, or layered over a sweater dress and knee high boots. Lastly, the new collaboration between Marc Fisher and a-list stylist Elizabeth Sulcer is one collection we want to get our hands on. More specifically, these white ankle boots will make the perfect addition to our current boots collection.
Ok I thought that was it, but I need to tell you about this last product. We recently uncovered the myth behind a powder that simply minimizes the appearance of pores and imperfections without feeling as heavy and cake-y as foundation. Meet the un-powder by RMS that we’ve been test-trying for a week now and have so far been loving the results.
