Now that we’ve all (unfortunately) got your attention on the Internet, we would like to take a moment to share with you what’s been going on for the past days here at The Weekly Cut. In a shared concern about the current situation, we would also like to pinpoint ways to make working from home more pleasant and efficient.
For once, living a relatively active day to day throughout the year we’re looking for ways to incorporate a refrained and modified exercise routine at home. Since we’re used to heading to the gym a few times a week and that no longer is an option, we’ll be sticking to a schedule of at-home workouts from some of our team favorites, including The Sculpt Society by Megan Roup and Melissa Wood Health by Melissa Wood Tepperberg. Although all workouts are designed to be modified depending on equipment, physical level and time to spare, we thought this to be a good opportunity to finally get our hands on some hand/ankle weights, a proper yoga mat and more accessories and gadgets to make those workouts fun and hassle-free!
Also on our to-do list is to dress more comfortably now that we’ll be spending a considerable amount in the confines of our home. If you follow us regularly you’ll notice that we’re not big on sharing workout clothes or loungewear – simply because we like and most importantly enjoy making the effort to dress up in the morning. Whether it’s a seasonal trend we’re coveting or wardrobe staples that stand the test of time, looking for sweatpants online has just never been a priority… until now!
Which brings us to this week’s feature amidst all this chaos and uncertainty, and we’re here to share some of the items we added to our shopping carts. Free People gives us a wide range of styles and categories to shop from which is why it was our number one pick – scroll through and find out what’s about to arrive in the mail for us! From sanitizer for our yoga mat to tie-dye joggers, cashmere tops under £100, no slip socks for the most stabilizing workout, cheek highlighter (because not leaving the house doesn’t mean you can’t add a little shimmer to your face), calming detox tea and much more!
